How to talk to a child about inclusion?

Tolerance starts with a conversation
And you are the first person who can teach your child to accept, respect and understand the diversity of the world.
How do you talk to your child about inclusion?
Explain in simple words.
Tell them that everyone is different: some people run fast, some don’t, some laugh loudly, and some don’t like noise. It’s okay to be different.
Dispel myths.
If a child sees a child with a disability, don’t distract him or her – on the contrary, gently tell him or her: “He just learns differently. But we can all play together.”
Teach respect and empathy.
Offer to help, but do not put pressure. Observe together how to interact without fear or regret – with an open heart.
Set examples.
Books, cartoons, life stories – all of these form the idea that inclusion is the norm, not the exception.
A child who can empathize, understand and respect others will grow into a bright person who changes the world for the better.
Let’s work together to foster tolerance through dialogue, trust, and example.
