Information for Parents!
We’d like to share an important opportunity for families raising children with suspected genetic disorders.
From July 1 through December 31, 2026, a grant program for free reanalysis of genetic data (RAW data) is underway, organized by the University of Tartu (Estonia) in collaboration with the Ukrainian Society of Human Genetics.
Who is it for?
For families raising children under 18 with neurodevelopmental disorders (autism, epilepsy, developmental delay, regression), developmental disabilities, immunodeficiencies, metabolic disorders, and other conditions where a genetic cause is suspected.
Main requirement for participation:
Availability of RAW data or the ability to obtain it from the laboratory where the genetic testing was performed.
Number of spots: 100.
According to the organizers, during a previous project, in 45% of cases, reanalysis helped establish a previously undiagnosed condition or adjust treatment and follow-up care.
