What is early intervention?

Early intervention means supporting the child and the entire family

Early intervention provides comprehensive support for young children who have developmental disabilities, are at risk of developing such disabilities, or need additional support.

The focus is not only on the child but also on the family and its daily life.

Specialists help parents better understand their child’s needs, support their development, and find practical solutions that can be used every day—during play, communication, mealtimes, walks, and other routine activities.

You should seek help if your child:

  • Has difficulty with speech or communication;
  • Has difficulty with movement or coordination;
  • Has sensory processing differences;
  • Is not acquiring certain age-appropriate skills;
  • Has difficulty playing and interacting with others;
  • Has difficulty with self-care;
  • Has behavioral, feeding, or sleep differences;
  • Was born prematurely or has other risk factors for developmental delays;
  • Needs additional support for development.
Don't wait!
If you have questions or concerns about your child's development, you can consult with specialists. For your first consultation, there's no need to wait until the difficulties become more pronounced.
How does early intervention work?

Support is centered on the needs of the child and the family. Early intervention is not just a series of individual sessions with the child. Specialists work together with the family to help incorporate new skills into the child’s daily life.

1.Getting to Know the Family
We discuss your request and learn about the child, their development, strengths, challenges, and the family’s daily life.
2.Assessment
A team of specialists works with the parents to identify the child’s and family’s needs, the child’s strengths, and situations where additional support is needed.
3.Setting Priorities and Goals
Together, we determine which changes are most important for the child and the family.
4.Individual Family Plan
We develop goals and support measures tailored to the child’s needs and the family’s priorities.
5.Team Collaboration with the Family
Specialists help parents find practical ways to support the child’s development in everyday situations.
6.Monitoring Results
We track progress, discuss results with the family, and, if necessary, revise goals and further support measures.
