Cooking therapy

We continue to introduce you to the areas of work at the World of Opportunities Inclusive Center.

Cooking therapy is an activity where ordinary culinary actions are transformed into a powerful tool for development.

Children perform simple and understandable tasks:

  • mix ingredients;
  • cut or arrange food;
  • spread, decorate, and serve food.

Through these activities, we help develop:

  • sensory-motor coordination;
  • fine motor skills;
  • attentiveness and consistency;
  • independence and belief in one’s own abilities.

And most importantly, the child sees the result of their work, can treat others or say, “I did it myself!”

This is where great victories begin!
