When the world is too loud, too bright or too scratchy
Children with sensory processing differences may cover their ears at ordinary sounds, refuse clothing labels or certain foods — or the opposite, constantly seek strong sensations: spinning, jumping, touching everything. These aren't whims; it's how the child's nervous system processes information.
The sensory room
Our sensory room has sensory panels, tactile materials, light and sound elements. In a safe setting children explore different sensations and learn to calm down and focus. The room helps reduce anxiety and steady emotions in difficult moments.
Sessions
- Sensory sessions (30 min — 450 UAH) — tactile, visual, auditory and movement input to regulate behaviour and attention
- Neurosensory integration (30 min — 550 UAH) — balance, coordination, body and spatial awareness
- Sand and natural materials therapy (30 min — 400 UAH) — to reduce anxiety
Sensory exercises are also part of the daily day-care programme for ages 3–10, full or half day.
