We continue our series of posts about the work of the Inclusive Center “World of Opportunities.”
Sensory classes are an important part of a child’s development, especially when they have difficulty processing information from the surrounding world.
During sensory classes, we gently and gradually stimulate:
- tactile perception (touch, different textures, materials);
- visual perception (colors, light, shapes);
- auditory perception (sounds, rhythms, silence);
- kinesthetic perception (balance, coordination, body position).
These classes help children:
- better understand their body’s signals;
- reduce stress and anxiety;
- regulate behavior and emotions;
- improve attention and concentration;
- gradually adapt to everyday situations.
We select exercises individually, taking into account the needs, abilities, and pace of each child, creating a safe space for development and a sense of stability.
Sensory classes are not about overload, but a path to balance, calm, and inner equilibrium.
