Social adaptation

We continue our series of posts about the center’s areas of focus

The ability to be around others, understand rules, and interact is an important part of every child’s development. This is precisely what the social adaptation program at the World of Opportunities Inclusive Center is dedicated to.

During classes, we help children:

  • gradually get used to being in a group;
  • learn simple and understandable rules of behavior;
  • learn to communicate with peers and adults;
  • understand social roles and boundaries;
  • safely express their emotions and needs.

Classes are held in a supportive and structured environment where each child has their own pace, and specialists gently accompany them on their path to confidence and interaction.

Social adaptation is about small steps that help a child feel part of the community and build relationships with those around them.
